- How are you able to provide registered agent service so cheap?
- We don't actually know. We didn't really do the math, but it sounded like a great way to make some money.
- Why would anyone sue me if I've done nothing wrong?
- Because it works. There are people who look for companies with a registered agent like us, file a nuisance claim, and have it served on a day they know our door is locked. We don't forward what we don't receive, you never answer, and they win by default. To be perfectly candid, that is our business model working exactly as designed - for them.
- What happens if I'm served?
- To be perfectly candid, we have no idea.
- Do you renew my service each year?
- No. That would be a promise.
- Who is YOUR registered agent?
- Someone else. We're not crazy.
- Can I reach a human?
- Only if you are a process server, and only if the door is unlocked.
- What does "not liable" mean?
- It means the fees you paid us in the three months before the problem. You pay once a year, so if you are sued in the first ninety days that is $6. If you are sued on day ninety-one, the fees you paid in the preceding three months come to zero, and we keep the $6. Spend it wisely.
- Do you have an office?
- We have an address. There is a building at it. Whether anyone is inside is a record we do not keep.
- Do you accept service of process?
- Accept is a strong word.
- How do I cancel?
- You don't need to. Nothing renews. It cancels itself, usually at the worst possible moment.
- Is this legal?
- Every state has a statute about exactly that. We reproduced them on the state pages so you can read what happens when an agent does what we do. We have not read them.
- Is there a cheaper one?
- Four. YOLO Registered Agents at $5, YOLO Registered Agent at $2.50, Tree Fiddy Registered Agents at $3.50, IDGAF Registered Agents at $1. We charge $24. It is the same nothing. Ours costs more. That is the whole answer.
- Is this a real company?
- It is real. The price is real, the terms are real, the statutes on the state pages are real, and so is what they describe. Read the terms before you decide the price is the only thing that matters.
